Comedian Michael Ian Black went on Twitter and defended Louis C.K. doing a stand up set, months after he admitted to sexually harassing women. Black made several good points like: Louis had admitted his wrongdoing, shown remorse, and served his time. Unfortunately for Black, mobs aren’t known for the ponderous and reflective nature, and he was immediately cast in the same basket as Louis the sexual predator. Saying, “Hey, give him a chance” is now equal to whipping out your wedding tackle and cranking one out in front of women. Then again, Black now has a tonne of publicity, so this might become a new trend to land 15 minutes of fame. I’d never heard of him until now, maybe there is a method to his madness? I’m the fence on this one – about his motives that is. Not about the reaction from the left. That is, as always, utterly ridiculous.
Faux outrage
Michael Cohen’s lawyer, Lanny Davis, is now walking back his comment that President Trump knew about the infamous Trump Tower meeting. Which got me thinking, what if this entire investigation is just another pre-election stunt like Black Lives Matter? These lives certainly haven’t mattered to the left since polls closed, so is this just one big banging of a drum that will simply disappear overnight post-election? Both groups had the aim of smearing conservatives, which they have done exceptionally well, but what if that was the simply endgame? Then again, I might be giving the Dems too much credit here. Not just with thinking long-term, more with thinking in general.
The Art of the Deal gone wrong

While the Commentariat salivate over potential subpoenas from the Mueller investigation, the real trouble for President Trump is on the home front. It’s clear he paid Stormy Daniels, which means it’s clear he slept with her. Which means it’s clear Melania ain’t sleeping with him anytime soon. Ending up with trashy Stormy Daniels instead of elegant Melania, now that is one of the worst trade deals in history.
‘Trumped’ review – good watch, Megyn Kelly is hot
As a Trump fan, I had no problem committing an hour forty minutes to see Dems get hammered again. Unlike Bill Murray, that’s a Groundhog Day I could totally revel in over and over. So, I was looking forward to ‘Trumped’ and was not disappointed.
It was a very leftist take on Trump and his entire candidacy, containing the obligatory shots/interviews of only uneducated/lower class people as if to say nothing but the dregs support this guy. Hillary of course was portrayed at her best, finely dressed with the sharpest lines from the debates. The documentary somehow failed to mention her 30,000 missing emails, her health scares on the trail, or her well documented aversion to the truth. Strange?
The best part wasn’t the obvious ending of Trump winning, nor the shots of defeated Dems at her premature celebration rally. No, it was seeing the smug, condescending three liberal hosts who were the focus of the entire hour forty minutes have their theories and experience nuked in one fell swoop. That was totally worth the wait.
The reaction of the left to Trump winning really gives an insight to their delusion, comparing his election with WW1, WW2 and 9/11. I’m sure in their minds this is true, it just doesn’t happen to be true outside of their isolated liberal bubbles. Van Jones saying it was a ‘Whitelash’ to eight years of a black President ignores the simple reality that you cannot have eight years of a black President if a country is racist in the first place. I understand they were in shock, but sadly this mindset is still par for the course amongst the Commentariat.
A good watch. Check it out. P.S. Megyn Kelly really is a stunning woman, incredibly pretty.
The party of spoiled children
The left loves to make it seem like President Trump is the one who has upset civil discourse in the States, conveniently forgetting the pattern of the last two Presidents. Under President Bush, Hitler was in power. Under President Obama, everything was sunshine and lollypops. And now, under the current President, we’re back to Hitler again. This says more about the left than anything President Bush or Trump did to the public discourse.
After twenty years in education, I feel confident in describing leftist behavior like that of a spoiled child. Under Obama, everything appeared fine because the left got their way – they were in control. Under two separate Republican administrations, the lack of civility is simply because the left aren’t. ‘It’s not fair! I don’t want him as my President! Boo hoo!’ And they stamp their feet, scream, hurl obscenities, try to remove him from office and, of late, physically attack people.
It’s not that the nation has changed in the past 17 years, or that Republican Presidents are the problem, it’s just that a significant portion of the population never grew up. Discourse would return to normal if they learned how to behave like adults who understand that you can’t always get your way.
