One of the more ridiculous elements of the Mueller investigation is the suggestion that President Trump was wrong to fire beloved FBI Director James Comey. Let’s recap here.

James Comey reopened the investigation into the illegal actions of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton right before the 2016 election, which – say to safe – angered Hillary and her team immensely. In her book she even listed this action by Comey as one of the reasons she lost the election.

President Trump, however, fired James Comey in May of 2017. Trump took almost seven months to fire him which shows restraint. Given Hillary’s vindictiveness, she would waited until, oh I dunno, the Wednesday after Super Tuesday at the latest and the media would have applauded her. Heads Hillary wins, tails Trump loses.
